Introducing Jayden, our 18 // Training Camp Major Prize Male Winner.

Introducing Jayden, a 24-year-old dynamo juggling the demands of a growing family business and a burgeoning family. As a father with a third child on the way, he still finds time to commit to his personal health and fitness. His journey with UBX began in March. Jayden says he was drawn to UBX for our diverse training options. The blend of boxing, cardio, and weight training, all wrapped up in a 45-minute session, perfectly suited his busy schedule.

Adopting an ‘all or nothing’ attitude, Jayden committed to daily morning runs, clocking around 130 kilometers over six weeks, while his afternoons and weekends were dedicated to UBX sessions. Even at home, he squeezed in extra jump rope and shadow boxing sessions whenever possible.

Jayden’s journey reminds us that with the right mindset, commitment to fitness, and the support of a community like UBX, balancing business, family, and health is not just a dream, but an achievable reality.

Here is Jayden’s transformation from Training Camp:

TRAINING

What was your approach to the Training?

“My approach to training was all or nothing, I ran nearly every morning and went to UBX every afternoon sometimes twice on weekends as well as extra jump rope and shadow boxing every chance I got at home.”

NUTRITION

What was your approach to the nutrition aspect of the challenge?

Jayden overhauled his diet, setting a 2000-calorie daily intake – a significant shift from his previous dietary habits. His nutrition was further supplemented by a focus on protein intake and ensuring no cheat meals disrupted his regime.

MINDSET

How are you feeling post-Training Camp?

Post camp I felt amazing, so clear headed. It was the best I’d felt since my teen years. It was magical, my plan long term is to do every Training Camp and get better results each time. “

ADVICE

What advice do you have for other members taking on the Training Camp – 6 week challenge?

“If a 24 year old business owner with 3 kids can do it, anyone can. The excuse you make today will only make tomorrow harder.”
